Way Station

Way Station is dedicated to promoting health, community integration, and purposeful life activity primarily for children, adolescents and adults with serious mental illness or other conditions resulting in functional impairments in Frederick, Carroll, Howard and Montgomery Counties, MD. Way Station is a recipient of a grant awarded by the Department of Labor, Office of Disability Employment Policy (Maryland WorkForce Promise). This grant will address the capability of individuals transitioning from segregated environments, such as nursing homes and institutions to successfully participate on community employment through customized strategies. For MCEP, Way Station consults on services to individuals with serious mental illness as well as assist with statewide project replication.
