The Employer Assistance Referral Network (EARN) is a cost free nationwide employer service that connects employers with recruitment and informational resources that will guide and refer them to employment service providers who have access to job-ready candidates with disabilities in their community.

The Job Accommodation Network (JAN) is a free consulting service designed to increase the employability of people with disabilities by: 1) providing individualized worksite accommodations solutions, 2) providing technical assistance regarding the ADA and other disability related legislation, and 3) educating callers about self-employment options.

NCWD/A
The National Center on Workforce and Disability/Adult (NCWD/A) is the technical assistance provider for Customized Employment initiatives across the nation. NCWD/A provides training, technical assistance, policy analysis, and information to improve access for all in the workforce development system.

The One-Stop Toolkit Website provides accessible and comprehensive tools and information to those who provide services that help individuals with disabilities find and keep good jobs. The resources on this website will help grantees widen the array of services available to individuals with disabilities at One-Stop Centers, and integrate those services seamlessly into One-Stop operations.

Benefits Planning Assistance and Outreach (BPAO)
The Social Security Administration (SSA) funds an outreach program to help people who have disabilities and on Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI). Trained Benefits Specialists work in all counties of Maryland. They are available to give you informed choice concerning work and explain all about the SSA work incentives. They do not work for SSA but under a grant from SSA and their service is free. Benefits Specialists are also available for Technical Assistance to agencies/institutions that serve the disability community, including those serving Transition-Aged youth.
